Nobile di Montepulciano D.O.C.G.
Nobile di Montepulciano wine is produced by mixing a selection of prugnolo gentile grapes together with a small percentage of mammolo and canaiolo nero grapes. After fermentation using traditional methods, the wine is aged for 36 months in 20 hl oak casks. Characterized by an intense granite red color it has a penetrating spice bouquet. Its flavour is warm, soft and persistent. A Nobile wine, perfect as an accompaniment for red meat, game and aged cheese. This wine should be decanted for at least 2 hours and is best served at a temperature of 16-18° C.
